Position Overview

Ultimate Staffing Services is actively seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Machinist Fabricator to join their client's innovative team in California. Responsibilities

The Senior Machinist Fabricator will play a critical role in the design and development of the company's innovative technology. The ideal candidate will be responsible for fabricating parts and assembling complex electromechanical systems based on engineering documentation or supervisor direction. This role requires a detail-oriented individual with strong communication skills and a comprehensive understanding of fabrication methods, tools, and measurement equipment.

  • Read mechanical blueprints, sketches, and BOMs; order, receive, and organize parts efficiently.
  • Utilize computer-aided design files and translate them into functional components.
  • Fabricate parts using hand tools, power tools, welders, milling machines, and lathes.
  • Obtain bids and coordinate external fabrication work.
  • Test components and electromechanical assemblies.
  • Order materials and services as needed.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of relevant experience as a Mechanical Technician, Mechanic, and/or Metal Fabricator.
  • Experience with automated CNC machining, laser cutting, laser welding, and 3D printing.
  • Strong customer service orientation with a positive, proactive attitude.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to prioritize, negotiate, and collaborate effectively.
  • Demonstrated discretion when handling confidential information.
  • Strong time management, organization, and attention to detail.
  • Ability to multitask and adapt quickly in a fast-paced, resource-constrained environment.
  • Capable of working independently and taking initiative.
  • Proficiency in SolidWorks for part and assembly design is a plus.
  • Associate's degree (or equivalent experience) in mechanical engineering preferred.

Monday to Friday, 1st shift

The position offers a competitive salary ranging from $80,000 to $115,000 annually, based on experience and qualifications.
